5s Donation Buckets


It is tradition that the current 5-S inductees collect donations for the Dan Wolz Clean Water Education Grants
at the Annual Conference as part of their induction to the membership. 

The Dan Wolz Clean Water Education Grant program  was established to heighten public awareness of the career opportunities our industry has to offer and to improve the quality and quantity of clean water community education in Michigan’s public schools. Dan Wolz was a true environmental steward of the Earth. Thus, in recognition of the passion Dan had for education, this award continues to reach hundreds of Michigan students each year. The collective goal of the 2022 inductees is to raise $6,500 for the Dan Wolz Clean Water Education Grant Fund.  

Please help our inductees raise enough money to cover the grants for 2023!

• We have built-in time Monday and Tuesday evening for you to host a reception or invite clients to join you at one of the fabulous Downtown Traverse City restaurants. Please contact MWEA if you are interested in hosting an event onsite at Grand Traverse Resort. 
• TWO choices for Exhibitor Move-In and Tear-Down!
  • Move-In: Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 5-8 pm OR Monday, June 13, 2022 from 6:30 am-3 pm
  • Tear-Down: Monday, June 13, 2022 from 6:45-9 pm OR Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 7-11 am
