ALEX HITSMAN WITH VELOCITY PUMP & CONTROLS WILL BE PRESENTING. THIS SECTION 7 TRAINING WILL FEATURE A STREAMLINED PRESENTATION OF VELOCITY PUMPS COMPREHENSIVE PUMP SCHOOL. BASE SUBJECT WILL COVER FUNDAMENTALS OF SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS, WITH A SPECIFIC EMPHASIS ON PROPER EQUIPMENT SELECTION AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE. PHYSICAL PUMP MODELS WILL BE ON HAND FOR DEMONSTRATION, WHICH WILL OFFER A PRACTICAL, HIGH LEVEL UNDERSTANDING OF THE EQUIPMENT.

Introduction to Wastewater Math

This course begins by covering the basic algebra rules and processes needed to perform mathematical calculations used in wastewater. The course then introduces basic water math concepts of tank calculations. Finishing with calculating water volume measurements through the system over time.

This class will be excellent for those in need of a refresher of high school math or those who generally struggle with math.
