This course begins by covering the basic algebra rules and processes needed to perform mathematical calculations used in wastewater. The course then introduces basic water math concepts of tank calculations. Finishing with calculating water volume measurements through the system over time.

We invite you to help us celebrate MWEA's 100th Year Anniversary with an outing to Comerica Park. This special event is an opportunity to catch up with some of your fellow peers, reminisce over classic ballpark bites, and enjoy a nice Michigan summer evening outside watching the Tigers play ball.
This Centennial Celebration will be held on Friday, August 8th at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. The evening will begin inside the stadium at Party Plaza A, where we will enjoy a classic ballpark meal. We will then make our way down to our seats to watch the first pitch. Following the game, we encourage you to stay to watch the spectacular Friday fireworks show!

The Lagoon Operators Committee invites you to an upcoming gathering designed to foster collaboration, connection, and knowledge-sharing among lagoon system professionals. This special event will include a facility tour, committee meeting, and lunch — offering a valuable opportunity to engage with peers from across the industry.
In alignment with the committee’s mission to bring together wastewater lagoon professionals, regulators, engineers, and manufacturer representatives to share ideas and solve problems related to lagoons, this meeting will focus on discussing current challenges, highlighting innovative solutions, and providing updates on lagoon-related initiatives throughout the state.
