NAVPLG 2019 ANNUAL MEETING & SESSION at POL
Join NAVPLG on Tuesday, June 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the Points of Light in St. Paul, MN. A warm welcome will be followed by the NAVPLG Awards Presentation by NAVPLG Awards Chair, Leigh Kottwitz, CVA, Neighborhood Services Manager, City of Columbia, MO. Awards will be presented for Outstanding Volunteer Administrator, Outstanding New Volunteer Administrator, and Innovative Program.

After the awards presentation, NAVPLG E-Newsletter Chair, Mary Lynn Perry, Volunteer Engagement Specialist, Dept. of Human Resources/Administration, City of Sacramento, CA, will present Lessons in Volunteer Coordination in Disasters from the California Wildfires, followed by NAVPLG Board Nomination Chair, Corina Sadler, CVA, Volunteer Resources Supervisor, City of Plano, TX, with Building Staff Relations for your Volunteer Program. NAVPLG Member, Mary Lou Randolph, Volunteer Administrator, City of Kettering, OH, Volunteer Kettering, will conclude the educational session with Using a Civic Leadership Program to Cultivate Volunteer Leaders.

To wrap-up the meeting, members will be asked to complete the evaluation and request more Government Track sessions. During the Points of Light engagement (6/17-6/20), NAVPLG 2019 memberships will be on sale for $25. The NAVPLG Network Mixer will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19. We look forward to seeing you in St. Paul!

NAVPLG Bylaws Proposed Amendments
Dear NAVPLG Member:
Thank you for your participation as a NAVPLG Member.
NAVPLG Members were sent the Proposed NAVPLG BYLAWS 2019 for their review on 5/17/2019. Members will have (30) days from 5/18/2019 to 6/17/2019 to vote to approve or decline the proposed amendments. The proposed amendments were approved by a majority of the NAVPLG Board of Directors on 5/15/2019.
