Details:
This is entry-level and semi-skilled manual labor within the Maintenance & Service Division
requiring some mechanical aptitude in the performance of asphalt and cement road repairs as
well as maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, catch basin cleaning, rat baiting and
hydrant painting.


Qualifications:
1. High school degree or GED
2. Must possess a valid State of Michigan Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Group A with
air brakes and N endorsement within two (2) months of starting the CDL A Training
program through the City of Saginaw
3. Familiar with the City's street system.
4. Prior experience performing a variety of manual labor tasks.
5. Basic experience in the operation of a pickup truck, dump truck, backhoe and other
equipment.
6. Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces, i.e. manhole entry, rat baiting, etc.
7. Must have an attendance record acceptable to management.
