Please plan to attend this critical meeting co-hosted by BIAMI, MBIPC, CAPP and CPAN on July 18, 2019 to discuss our 3-6 month plans concerning the newly enacted auto no-fault bill. 

ALL principals and leaders from the provider community are encouraged to attend to learn about the ground game moving forward and the need to be committed financially as well as personally in this fight.   We will be discussing the launch of a massive public education campaign that will be locally targeted and driven, the MI Auto Insurance Promise Rally at the Capitol on September 25, and the social media campaign to be shared by all organizations.  Seating is limited to organization leaders and principals.   There is no charge to attend.

2019 Survive & Thrive Art Sale - 8th Annual

How about spending a summer evening surrounded by beautiful art, delicious food and good friends-all to raise funds for a great cause, while preserving and protecting Michigan's model no-fault insurance system?  It’s the 8th Annual Survive & Thrive Art Sale, and you’re invited.

Register now to attend an evening of refreshments featuring an art sale of works from artists with traumatic brain injuries and other disabilities at the eighth annual Survive & Thrive, a benefit supporting CPAN, hosted by Work Skills, Corporation and Studio West Gallery. The sale is Wednesday, July 24, from 4:30 P.M.to 8:00 P.M. at Studio West Gallery in Brighton, MI. The gallery is located at 111 South West Street, Brighton, MI. There are several exciting ways to support this event.  Sponsorships levels include:  Blooming at $650, Flourishing at $1,000 and Thriving at $1500.  All include admission for 6, special recognition at the event, and a commemorative art work in acknowledgement of your sponsorship. Flourishing and Thriving level sponsors will have their logos included on correspondence before and after the event, on special event signage and ads in CPAN newsletters.   Individual tickets are $75.00 for non-members, $65 for CPAN members.  If you are not a CPAN member and wish to join, you may do so in conjunction with this event for a cost of $150.00. That is a $25 savings!

SB-1 and HB 4397, the recently signed into law auto insurance legislation makes broad changes to Michigan's insurance as we know it. These bills impact survivors and families already injured in auto accidents and the many care providers in our state. They will result in major changes and significant considerations for those purchasing policies in the future. Understanding these complex and confusing changes is the focus of this meeting. You will hear from the CPAN's legal team about these impacts. It is vital to have an in depth analysis of this new law, before strategies to mitigate its damages can be undertaken. Come prepared to listen about how this new law affects you!

MI Auto Insurance Promise Rally

We would like to harness the enthusiasm, tenacity, and commitment so many have voiced to continue fighting to ensure that those injured in auto accidents can receive the care they need to recover. There is a long road ahead to either improve or repeal the terrible bill recently enacted as well as a needed to educate the public on the choices they will be asked to make and risks that they are now exposed to.?

Join Michigan Brain Injury Providers Council (MBIPC), Concerned Association of Patients and Providers (CAPP), Brain Injury Association of MI (BIAMI), the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault (CPAN) and thousands of members, organizations, and survivors?on September 25, 2019 as we rally in front of Michigan's Capitol. Registration will open at 9:00 AM at the Lansing Center, followed by a march down Michigan Ave. to the Capitol steps at 10:45 AM with a rally to follow at 11:30 AM.?
