The IHSA Annual Conference is a professional development event held each spring. Established in 1977, it brings together Head Start and Early Head Start staff at every level, including program leadership, Policy Council and Governing Body members, line staff, and child care partners from across Illinois. The conference features educational sessions that strengthen staff capacity, pre-conference tracks addressing Office of Head Start initiatives, keynote presentations, an awards and recognition luncheon, peer networking opportunities, the State Association Meeting, IHSA Board elections, and an exhibitor hall.
