Login opens at 8:15 a.m - Once logged in, you will receive a participant form by email to sign and return (instructions will be provided). The participant must be the person registered for the course. This will be monitored as per the Ministry's Requirement for Virtual CEC's.
Course starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 5:00 p.m. Breaks will be announced throughout the day. One Hour lunch will be provided.
Course Topics
Water Wells (approximate 4 hrs in length)
Each case study will provide historical examples of how rules and best management practices are interpreted and enforced. There will be a knowledge check at the end of the presentation.
Case Study 2: Who can and cannot abandon a well
Case Study 3: Reasonable efforts to remove casing from an abandoned well
Case Study 4: Addressing an existing flowing well issue
Case Study 5: Constructing a dry well
Case Study 6: Case studies on naturally occurring gas reporting & mitigating
Review of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) (approximate 3 hrs in length)
