Please join us for a collaborative event bringing together leaders in design, construction, and development to examine the process of keeping Design in Design-Build. The event will begin with a walking tour of two successful Downtown Denver Design-Build projects, followed by a reception and panel discussion on the topic.
4:00-5:00 PM - Walking Tour - Meet at 1401 Lawrence
First, the Polsinelli Building at 1401 Lawrence is a 458,000-square-foot office tower located in the heart of Downtown Denver, at the entrance to the CBD and LoDo. Beck Group’s Design-Build project integrates the historic fabric of Denver’s LoDo with a cutting-edge tower design. The building has achieved LEED Gold certification for the core/shell and is seeking LEED Platinum certification for the Polsinelli tenant space. We will look at the impact of design on the finished project.
Next, we will tour a new 22-story, Dual-Brand Hotel at 15th & Stout Downtown Denver. The Beck Group is providing integrated design-build services for the project. The design concept was to stitch together two dissimilar hotel flags, Home2 Suites, and Tru by Hilton, in a simple, contemporary, and efficient manner. The material palette was carefully considered to blur the lines between brands and produce a cohesive design. The 266,000-square-foot high-rise facility includes one below-grade level, an at-grade lobby, five levels of integrated parking and 15 floors of hotel suites. The property will open in November and provide 382 guest rooms, a fitness center, and a meeting/conferencing space for its guests.
