Event Description

Horween Leather Company
Horween Leather Company, founded in 1905, is a Chicago-based tannery now in its fifth generation of family ownership. For more than 120 years, Horween has built its reputation on what it describes as "traditional, old world tannages and techniques, carefully updated with modern applications." The company's stated goal is "to make the world's best leather" - an aim it pursues using "formulas that do not cut corners" and components chosen "strictly for their quality." Today, Horween's leathers are still made by hand at its Chicago facility, much the way they were generations ago.
