Air Handling, Water Treatment, and Plumbing Systems
Through this course, you will learn about climate control for human comfort, the components of HVAC systems, and the basics of water treatment and plumbing systems. You will gain the skills and knowledge to perform common water tests, maintain air-conditioning systems, maintain water services, and inspect portable fire extinguishers.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Replace and/or maintain complicated HVAC systems
- Outline procedures for water sample analysis, testing, and treatment
- Reference guidelines when installing and monitoring pipes and valves
- Maintain a reliable and effective fire protection system

Classes will be held every Wednesday in the month of June 2026 - 6/3, 6/10, 6/17 & 6/24.
Classes start at 8:00 am and end at 5:00 pm.
Important Information About Coursebooks: All learners enrolled in BOMI classes will receive a digital coursebook (eBook) with their enrollment. To access the book, learners will need to use an eReader on their computer, tablet, smartphone or other smart device.
To Order a Printed Book: For an additional $75 charge, learners who wish to receive a physical book can add the item to their registration. The book will be available the first day of the course.
FEES:
