This course integrates foundational concepts with hands-on math practice to support entry-level operators. It demonstrates a variety of problem-solving techniques and strategies used on the job and during certification exams, helping learners gain confidence in applying math to real-world scenarios. Through step-by-step instruction, participants will develop essential math skills, including analyzing word problems, selecting appropriate formulas, applying the order of operations and unit conversions, and performing basic algebraic manipulations. The course also covers key topics such as powers and scientific notation, dimensional analysis, rounding and estimating, solving for unknown values, ratios and proportions, averages, and working with percents and decimals.
