Event Description
This session will look at and discuss how the Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home expanded on pet therapy visits to help recreate a sense of purpose and responsibility for residents living in long-term care and how it helped to improve overall quality of life. The session will discuss the development of pet therapy programming within a home and then expand on program ideas, development, growth, implementation, and outcomes.
