11:00 AM - 12PM | Presentation #1: Spring 2025 Western MD Floods | Response and Transition to Recovery
A panel from Allegany County Emergency Management and the Maryland Department of Emergency Management discuss the response to the Spring 2025 Floods in Western Maryland. The panel will also discuss lessons learned and best practices about incident response and the transition into recovery activities.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM | Presentation #2: Recovery & Mitigation Funding Changes
The Maryland Department of Emergency Management, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Directorate Staff discusses changes to funding recovery & mitigation amid policy changes at the Federal Level. This presentation will include an overview of the new State Disaster Recovery Fund (SDRF) and the Resilient Maryland Revolving Loan Fund (RLF).
