Event Description

You’re Invited to Impact 100’s member volunteer opportunity to support 2023 Grant Awardee Keeping Teen Moms In School, a Dohn Community High School program.    


Impact 100 members can support our 2023 grant awardee in 3 ways :

  • Now through  4/15/24 :  Register to donate items for the 30 girls for Test Week Survival Kits  - See below list**  Donated items are needed for arrival no later than 4/15/24.  (Janet Sullivan will contact those who sign up to donate items to provide her address for mailing ; or to arrange a pick up or drop off, no later than 4/15/24.)    
  • Tuesday, 4/16/24, 2:00 – 3:30 pm :  Register to volunteer to assemble the Test Survival Kits and write encouraging notes to the students, on site at KTMIS, accompanied by a brief tour of their location.   (This opportunity is limited to 10 volunteers)
  • Monday, 4/22/24, 8:15 – 9:45 am :  Register to volunteer to serve breakfast to the 30 girls prior to testing day, accompanied by a brief tour of their location (This opportunity is limited to 4 volunteers)

  1. 30 Cinch Bags or Canvas Bags (12 inch or larger size)

  2. 30 Decorative Note Cards – message of encouragement, or blank (for volunteers to write notes of encouragement to the girls)

  3. 60 Highlighters – assorted colors

  4. 30 Notepads – spring or encouragement theme

  5. 60 Writing Pens

  6. 30 Packs of Post-it Notes

  7. 30 Packs of Tissues

  8. 30 Stress Balls

  9. 30 pairs of women's socks

  10. 30 bath bombs

  11. 30 trial or small size hand wipes

  12. 60 Chewy granola bars

  13. 30 bags of popcorn 

  14. 30 snack bags of peanuts, cashews, or trail mix

  15. 30 packages of gum

  16. 30 tubes lip balm

  17. 30 packs of breath mints

  18. 30 trial size lotions

  19. 90 instant drink mixers (Crystal Light or other brand)

  20. 30 of any other item you think high school girls would use/enjoy !

  21. Cash donation toward purchase of 4/22 breakfast items


Impact 100 members who sign up for the item donations for survival kits, or cash donations for the breakfast, will be contacted by Janet Sullivan to make arrangements for mailing or pick up no later than 4/15/24.
