This presentation will explain the Agronomic Rate Calculation worksheet used to determine appropriate nutrient rates for the beneficial use of biosolids. This includes where to find the information to complete the ARC such as biosolids nutrient data, crop yields, and crop nitrogen requirements, and how that information corresponds. to reporting on the Annual Sludge Report.

This session is an interactive walk-through of the ARC with sample data provided by Ohio EPA. Workshop participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops to
work through the ARCs on their own first before going through them together as a group.

This section will be dedicated to reviewing additional biosolids topics such as common Annual Sludge Report issues and other land application requirements cited in OAC 3745-40-08.
