Event Description
Energy and Water Management Plan: Morris Forman WQTC

Join speaker Rich Atoulikian of HDR to learn more about conducting an energy management plan. This presentation will discuss the benefits of conducting an energy management plan, using as an example this 120 MGD ADF wastewater treatment facility, which has peak flows exceeding 300 MGD.  It will discuss the approach used to evaluate its existing facilities, understand current operations, and base-line existing uses for both liquid and solid stream processes.  Focused sub-metering was conducted as part of this study to better inform existing energy baseline development.  The approach used to identify, develop and evaluate energy conservation measures (ECMs) will be discussed, as well as the techniques used to prioritize implementation of these ECMs, including quantifying capital costs as well potential annual energy and cost savings. This webinar is made possible by the generous support of HDR.
