Confidence in a “soft landing” has been visibly shaken in recent months, as investors contend with weakening economic data, the start of a Fed easing cycle, angst over US equity valuations, and an upcoming presidential election. Yet despite the headwinds, there are reasons to be optimistic. This session will provide Treasury Professionals a high-level overview of the current economic environment, and what the macro backdrop could mean for financial markets heading into next year. About our Speaker James Anania is an Investment Strategist at Invesco, where he is responsible for helping develop and communicate the economic and financial market views of the firm’s Global Market Strategy Office. Prior to joining Invesco, he began his career as a market strategist at Goldman Sachs. In this role, Mr. Anania worked directly with GS private wealth advisors and their end-clients, providing guidance on asset allocation, portfolio construction, and trends in the economy & markets. more info...
