Join NWAFP on October 29, 2026 at the Washington Athletic Club for our next in-person meeting.   At the October meeting, we are hosting two exciting sessions followed by a Happy Hour. 

First Session: Preparing for a Financing Event: Perspectives from Lenders and Borrowers
 
Whether pursuing growth, acquisitions, refinancing, or future capital needs, understanding the debt financing landscape can help organizations make more informed decisions. Join a panel of lenders, advisors, and corporate finance professionals as they discuss the range of debt capital options available to middle-market and corporate companies. Attendees will gain insight into how different lenders evaluate opportunities, the metrics and covenant structures that matter most, and practical lessons learned from organizations that have recently navigated financing events.

Second Session: Optimizing Bank Compensation: ECR, Interest Income, and AI-Driven Fee Analytics
Bank compensation has grown more complex as interest rates move and fee structures evolve. This session unpacks how corporates are compensated for their balances, through earnings credit rates (ECR) and hard interest, and why the distinction matters. Our panel will trace the regulatory history that shaped these mechanisms, examine how banks value operating versus excess cash, and consider the practical trade-offs of managing counterparty risk when chasing yield. The discussion will then work through the accounting pitfalls that can distort a treasury budget when rates shift, and the fundamentals of disciplined bank fee management: validating charges against contracted pricing, catching anomalies, and allocating costs. Finally, the panel will explore how fee analysis software and emerging AI tools are standardizing cross-bank comparison and automating the manual work.

Larson McNeil Manging Director, JP Morgan Chase

Larson McNeil serves as Managing Director; Co-Head of Marketplaces & Digital Ecosystems Payments for JPMorganChase. In his current role, he is individually responsible for direct coverage of some of the largest and most complex Technology names. He is also responsible for managing a team that covers other large, complex Technology names.
 
Larson has worked for JPMC for 8+ years, serving in various Payments leadership roles. Prior to joining JPMC, Larson worked in a number of roles at Bank of America, including global technology and operations, global corporate and investment banking payments sales, and multinational banking payments sales.
 
Larson’s educational background includes a MS degree in Corporate Finance from Indiana University, Bloomington and a BA degree with a dual focus in International Relations and Political Science from the University of California, Davis. Larson has worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, the Sacramento area and Seattle. He currently lives in Seattle with his young daughter and son.
 
Additionally, Larson is active in the local Treasury community and serves as Co-President of the Northwest Association for Financial Professionals. In this role, he is responsible for strategy and execution for the organization, which includes the annual events planning, webinars and in-person events.


Jonathan Atkins Treasury Manager, Amazon

Jonathan Atkins is a Treasury Manager at Amazon, where he leads global treasury infrastructure, spanning in-house banking and bank connectivity. His work centers on the systems and banking relationships that move and manage cash across a large, complex global treasury operation.
Jonathan has worked in corporate treasury since 2009, holding roles at Costco and Symetra before joining Amazon in 2020, and has held the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation since 2012. He holds a BA in Business, with a concentration in Accounting and Finance, from Northwest University.
 

Michelle Seguin Director - Americas Coverage and Business Development, Redbridge Debt & Treasury Advisory

Michelle is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in banking, fintech, SaaS, and enterprise Michelle is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in banking, fintech, Saas and enterprise sales.  She was a senior sales leader at JPMorgan Chase and a corporate banker at Citibank, where she worked with global clients to execute complex working capital solutions. Michelle consistently drove double-digit growth, expanded market share and led major sales and CX transformations. Michelle now serves as a Director at Redbridge, where she helps clients modernize their financial strategies and drive sustainable growth across complex industries. She earned a B.A. from University of Michigan and a M.A. from Columbia University in International Economics and Finance.
