Event Description

This advanced 2-day Wastewater A & B Exam Preparation class is designed for experienced operators preparing for EGLE’s higher-level certification exams. Built around comprehensive A & B exam reference materials, the course delivers an in-depth review of complex treatment processes, including primary, secondary, and advanced biological treatment, nutrient removal, disinfection, solids handling, digestion, and dewatering. Emphasis is placed on understanding process control, operational decision-making, and the calculations operators are expected to master at the A & B level.

Over two focused days, participants will work through advanced calculations, troubleshooting scenarios, and “need-to-know” exam topics covering activated sludge, attached growth systems, pumps and hydraulics, laboratory analysis, and regulatory considerations. This class is ideal for operators seeking a deeper technical understanding, refined problem-solving skills, and the confidence needed to successfully pass the EGLE Wastewater Operator A & B Exams.
