This presentation will demystify the concept of implicit bias, moving beyond a simple definition to explore its psychological roots and real-world impact. We will examine how unconscious mental shortcuts influence our perceptions and decisions, and discuss the tangible effects on our communities and workplaces. The talk will culminate in a practical, solution-oriented discussion, providing actionable strategies and tools to help individuals and institutions, not only recognize their own biases but also take concrete steps towards creating a more equitable and inclusive environment.
