Weston is a Business Support Coordinator with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. His primary focus is to help businesses go beyond compliance with the Green Tier program. In his time with the department, he’s also led the development of a pilot program for sustainable economic development. Weston enjoys working with business leaders who use innovative practices to create economic opportunities for their business and community while protecting Wisconsin’s unique natural environment.

Weston holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he was a member of the national championship football program. His enthusiasm for leadership in sustainability began while studying at Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany; a city renowned for its culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship.
