Details:
Under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent, operates, maintains and repairs all pumps, compressors, blowers, valves, piping, clarifiers, digesters and various other equipment at the wastewater treatment plant and pumping stations. Performs sampling and analysis of wastewater samples and documents a variety of data for reports and records. Serves in an "on-call" basis to handle emergency situations.

Qualifications:
Prefer equivalent of two years of college level coursework in chemistry, engineering, mathematics and related areas. Must posses a valid Michigan Driver's License and capable of obtaining a CDL Class B. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good mechanical ability. Ability to obtain Operator Certification within first two years of employment.
