Infrastructure Alternatives has a full-time position opening for a Project Manager/Wastewater Operations Specialist for the City of Grant, MI. Duties will include but are not limited to: sample collection and laboratory analysis, control of chemical, biological and mechanical processes, mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance, tending and maintaining process equipment, maintaining records and reporting, and general housekeeping and grounds maintenance.

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule which includes working overtime, holidays and weekends, and being on-call 24 hours a day for emergencies on a rotating basis.


Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have a mechanical aptitude and able to work in a physically demanding job that requires both indoor and outdoor work. Wastewater treatment experience with a Michigan Class C wastewater and S3, D3 water certification strongly preferred. Operation and maintenance of extended air activated sludge wastewater treatment plants and maintenance experience a plus. Successful candidate will have a strong work ethic with experience that demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and interact effectively with co-workers, clients and the public. Good writing and computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office desired.

The selected candidate must possess a valid MI drivers license in good standing. Must live within a reasonable driving distance of the City of Grant, or be willing to relocate.
