Southern Clinton County Municipal Utilities Authority (SCCMUA) is seeking a detail oriented supervisor to lead the Process Control department. The ideal candidate will be a dependable and persistent manager with the ability to educate and motivate their staff. This individual must proactively work to ensure SCCMUA is in compliance with its discharge permit.
SCCMUA has a proud history of preserving a well maintained and efficient wastewater system. The system has a rigorous maintenance schedule and regular equipment replacement projects. SCCMUA recently updated its Wastewater Asset Management Plan that outlines priority projects for the next 30 years.
The Process Control Supervisor works under the general direction of the Director of Operations. This position is responsible for managing the day to day activities of the process department. The Process Control Supervisor must be current with applicable regulations and permit standards regarding sewage disposal and must be able to direct staff to comply with those regulations.
Process Department
SCCMUA employs 15 employees—10 operators, 4 supervisors, and the Director of Operations. The Process Control Supervisor manages 4 of the operators. SCCMUA encourages employees to seek out continuing education opportunities and obtain advanced certifications/licenses pertaining to their field and job responsibilities.
