Scholarships and Awards

Sigma Kappa Delta Offers a wide variety of individual recognition as well as chapter recognition.

Although our membership is a lifetime membership, only active SKD members are eligible for individual SKD awards and scholarships. Active members are defined as members who are currently enrolled in 100/200 level classes and are actively pursuing an associate’s degree in the academic year in which the prize is awarded.  Members who have graduated from the two-year level and have gone on to pursue their bachelor’s degree are not eligible for SKD awards or scholarships, but may apply to present at the Sigma Tau Delta conference under their SKD lifetime membership.

Each entry must be submitted separately. Each member may submit up to three poems and three prose works. Two separate submissions are required if applying for both the Transfer and the Service Scholarships.

Submission links can be found under each category, or click here for all submission links. Submission links are open from August 1, 2023, through November 15, 2023.
