2020 WASFAA Conference is cancelled

Dear Colleagues,

Unfortunately, and with a heavy heart, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the WASFAA Conference in Hawaii has been canceled.

WASFAA will be issuing refunds for any registrations and any Luau companion tickets within the next couple of weeks via the original payment method. You will need to cancel any room reservations you have made on your own. 

Please note that membership dues are non-refundable, as they are not paid as part of the conference registration. If you are a 2020-2021 WASFAA member, that will provide you with the member price for the 2021 Conference. 

The Executive Council is still committed to holding a conference in Hawaii at a later date--possibly next year. We will keep everyone posted as those plans develop.

As you can imagine, this was a very difficult decision and certainly not how we expected to start 2020. Our main priorities are for everyone’s health, safety, and well-being. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding with this decision.

I know most of you are working on your campuses or remotely to assist your students, faculty, and community through the response to COVID-19--and know that WASFAA is here to provide as much training and resources in the coming weeks and months to you and your campus.
