Alexandria, VA – During the 2022 State Advisors’ Management Conference, HOSA Inc. Board Chairman, Jim Scott, recognized the Minnesota HOSA State Association as a SILVER Award Recipient in the first annual HOSA-Future Health Professionals’ Standards of Excellence Recognition Program.

The HOSA Standard of Excellence is a rigorous process that recognizes HOSA associations for organizational performance in standards areas determined by the HOSA Inc. Board of Directors. This comprehensive program is reviewed annually by the Standards Committee. Silver recognition is awarded to HOSA associations who have measures in place which demonstrate excellence in the areas assessed and show promise for growth in areas not currently met.

The HOSA Inc. Board of Directors launched the HOSA Standards of Excellence Recognition Program to ensure chartered associations have adopted policies, procedures and structure that deliver a high level of services to HOSA members annually. HOSA-Future Health Professionals believes that its fifty-five (55) state, territory, and country associations are strengthened by assessment and organizational direction that focus on stability, resilience, teamwork, and growth minded development.

Minnesota HOSA met the foundational requirements to support a healthy association and promote long-term organizational success in preparing future health professionals for the health industry. HOSA-Future Health Professionals congratulates Minnesota HOSA on exemplary organizational achievement!
