The September GMM was held at The Avenue Cafe on September 17th. Volunteers from Punks with Lunch Lansing joined us to discuss their efforts to feed and advocate for individuals experiencing housing or other insecurity in the Lansing area. Those interested in supporting Punks with Lunch should follow them on facebook for updates on volunteer opportunities and/or to view their wish list. What a great organization to have in our community!

Kindness Rally was a Huge Success!
Last Saturday, over 30 individuals participated in JCI Lansing's Kindness Rally. The Kindness rally is a random act of kindness road rally where teams compete to do as many good deeds as they can in their community. Lansing's teams were able to complete over 220 acts of kindness throughout the day including paying for groceries, leaving positive messages on mirrors and in books, and dropping money into diaper boxes. What a great way to show the community what JCI Lansing is all about!
