Discussion Board Tips
Personalizing Receipt of Discussion Board Messages
Members can control whether messages posted in the discussion boards appear in their email as follows:

To receive messages and responses in real time in your email, log into your WSAMA profile > click on Communication > Discussion Board. Select “Opt-in” next to the appropriate discussion board.

To receive only one email (a daily digest) of all messages and responses posted that day, log into your WSAMA profile > click on Communication > Discussion Board. Select “Daily Digest” next to the appropriate discussion board. Make sure “Opt-in” is not selected.

To receive no messages via email, log into your WSAMA profile > click on Communication > Discussion Board. Make sure no boxes are selected.
Replying to a Message
Replying to email messages received from the Discussion Board is different than your standard email response.
- To reply only to the sender, scroll down past the substance of the email message and select the link “Send direct reply to [email address of sender].”
- If you select “reply” or “reply all” to the Discussion Board email message, your reply will be sent to all WSAMA members.
