2018 Award of Merit
NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR 2018.

The NAVPLG Award of Merit may be given to a volunteer administrator or program at the discretion of the NAVPLG board. Nominees will be considered for their innovation, length and breadth of service or special achievement in the area of volunteer management in a city, county, township, borough, parish or other local government entity in the United States. Membership in NAVPLG is not required to be considered for this recognition.

The award will be presented at the NAVPLG Annual Meeting during the National Conference on Volunteering and Service in Atlanta, Georgia, June 18-20.

The winner will also receive a plaque and a complimentary membership into NAVPLG for the coming year.

Nominations accepted through Monday, April 16, 2018.


NAVPLG Award of Merit This award was created by the NAVPLG board to honor volunteer administrators or programs of a city, county, township, borough, parish or other local government entity in the United States for innovation, length and breadth or service or outstanding achievement. Membership in NAVPLG is not required to be considered for this award. This award will be given at the discretion of the NAVPLG board of directors. A narrative statement of not more than 500 words that describes the nominee is required. Supplementary material may be submitted electronically to leigh.kottwitz@CoMo.gov to be added to the nomination. These materials may include letters, testimonials, news clippings, pamphlets, etc. Submitted materials become the property of NAVPLG.
