Each year at the IESMA Summit, we set aside a quiet space to honor emergency management professionals and volunteers who have passed away during the previous year.

This memorial table is a simple but meaningful reminder of the commitment, service, and sacrifice that define our profession. It recognizes individuals who devoted their time, expertise, and leadership to protecting their communities—and whose absence is felt by colleagues, friends, and family members across Illinois and beyond.
