This course provides an overview of the regulations governing public drinking water systems, with a focus on monitoring, reporting, sample preservation, and compliance with National Primary and Secondary Drinking Water Regulations. Participants will learn operator responsibilities and regulatory requirements for the Surface Water Treatment Rule (SWTR), Ground Water Rule (GWR), Stage 1 and Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rules (DBPR), Total Coliform Rule (TCR), Revised Total Coliform Rule (RTCR), Lead and Copper Rule (LCR), and Public Notification Rule (PNR), while gaining practical knowledge to maintain compliance and protect public health.
