The Jerry R Sims Management & Leadership Institute will cover topics geared towards leadership in a financial aid office. New and aspiring directors are encouraged to attend this virtual event. Participation in all four days is mandatory for attendees. Attendees will meet as full group and small groups to build skills and relationships across the western region. Sessions will be taught by experienced financial aid directors as well as leaders in the higher education profession outside of the financial aid industry. Topics will focus around change and transition management of a team, strategic planning, professional development and working through difficult situations with those you supervise.
