SDNN Quarterly Networking Session

Event Description
The South Dakota Nonprofit Network (SDNN), in collaboration with regional nonprofit networks across the state, is excited to host another quarterly networking session. SDNN is holding this event for all nonprofits (regardless of if they are SDNN members or not). Join us on Thursday, September 29th from 9:00-10:15 AM CT via Zoom. This session will provide several breakout rooms for individuals to build their network and learn more about the great work others from across the state are doing.
In addition to the networking, we will have members of the SD Gives team join us to discuss this year's South Dakota Day of Giving. Find out more information about the session below.
The 5th annual South Dakota Day of Giving will be on Tuesday, November 29 ALL DAY LONG. Each of the past 4 years, around 500 nonprofits across the state participate in the Day of Giving to create awareness of their work, engage donors and raise dollars. Last year, nonprofits raised over $3 million on the Day and 1,300 new donors made their first gift ever to a nonprofit organization. The organizers of the South Dakota Day of Giving view the day as an opportunity to celebrate generosity and lift up the important work of South Dakota nonprofits.
Kelly Gibson with the Rural Philanthropy Institute and The Numad Group will join us for our Quarterly Networking Session on Thursday, September 29th. Kelly will share with us the purpose of the South Dakota Day of Giving, highlight new prizes being offered in 2022, and discuss some of the ways nonprofits have used the event to further their missions. She will be happy to take questions from people who attend the session.
