PAUSE BEFORE THE PIVOT!
Don’t we love to talk about growth and goals in the early part of the year? We’re tired of winter and old habits, we’re ready for spring and something new! It’s the time for resolutions, strategic plans, goals and yet our own fears can keep us from stepping forward with confidence. Sometimes we’re carrying the old messages of not enough, or we’ve internalized a mistake and it travels with us, reminding us when we failed. Living in a world of feedback and change can create a distinct sense of chaos and keep us from turning thoughts into action. Understanding what happens in the moment of receiving it, unpacking the emotional responses, and having a system to move through and into action can change how successful you are in a multitude of environments. This pause before you pivot is a time of learning and can give you the grounded confidence to move forward!
