In 2024 there are over 4848 anti-LGBTQ bills targeting our communities. In this session, we will take a look at how hate has been legislated into ou classrooms,
schools, districts and public spaces. From anti-trans bathroom laws to book bans, this Uncivil War of culture and bigotry continues to harm LGBTQ+ students,
educators, staff and families. Focus will be on the intersectionality of our most highly impacted LGBTQ+ BIPOC students with the barrage of racism,
homophobia, and transphobic legislation enacted at the institutional level.
