Feeding and Swallowing in the Neonate-Non-Member Registration

Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) across the glove have been increaslingly focused on developmental and comprehensive care. Speech-Language Pathologists play an integral role in the NICU from supporting infant's feeding from non-nutritve intervention, to breast and bottle feeding and yound, and to educating physicians, nurses, and caregivers.  This video will describe the SLPs role in the NICU from Birth to one year.  The discussion will include multidisciplinary care, overcoming obstacles in the NICU, and common complications and management post discarge from the NICU.
