We would like to harness the enthusiasm, tenacity, and commitment so many have voiced to continue fighting to ensure that those injured in auto accidents can receive the care they need to recover. There is a long road ahead to improve this deeply flawed legislation enacted in June of this year. This legislation will impact auto accident survivors, their families and their access to the care needed to recover. We need to Fix the “FIX” and want to work together to make necessary changes in the months ahead. The purpose of the march and rally is to show lawmakers and the administration that this bill impacts their constituents and their voices need to be heard – let’s work together to mitigate the damages that will result from this legislation as well as a need to educate the public on the choices they will be asked to make and risks that they are now exposed to.
Join Michigan Brain Injury Providers Council (MBIPC), Concerned Association of Patients and Providers (CAPP), Brain Injury Association of MI (BIAMI), the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault (CPAN) and thousands of members, organizations, and survivors on September 25, 2019 as we rally in front of Michigan's State Capitol. Doors open at 9:00 AM at the Lansing Center, 10:00 AM check-in with pre-rally activities, 10:30 AM Pep-Rally followed by a march down Michigan Ave. to the Capitol steps at 11:00 AM with a rally and speakers to follow at 11:30 AM. Rally concludes about 12:30 PM.
