Event Description
Join us for our 2025 annual meeting! This event will feature a book swap, brunch networking hour and raffle, a 1-hour CEU, a MWP member meeting, and scholarship award. The first two hours are open to non-members. Bring any books you'd like to give away and business cards! Cost is $15.

10-11 AM: Brunch and Book Swap
11-12 PM: CEU by Tara Burns, LPCC - Intro to Ecotherapy and an immersive forest bathing experience
12-1: Member Meeting (current members only) and scholarship award
CEU description: Join us for an experience of forest therapy or the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, which loosely translates to "forest bathing" or "taking in the forest atmosphere." Forest bathing is simply about slowing down, using your senses, and focusing on the nature around you and how it makes you feel. It's about disconnecting from the man-made, technological world to focus on the natural one. Certified Forest Therapy Guide Tara Burns, MA, LPCC will walk us through a forest bathing activity to experience the natural environment with all of our senses for an hour of relaxation and restoration.
