The Assistants Forum will be held at Boonsboro Country Club on Monday, October 24th. This event provides assistant superintendents the opportunity to enjoy a day filled with quality education, invaluable networking and fun golf competition. The event is open to all members and their guests. Superintendents are invited to attend and are encouraged to send their assistants and crew members. Vendors will have the opportunity to forge and strengthen relationships with the next wave of superintendents.

Prior to coming to Hermitage, Chris was the Golf Course Superintendent at Cattail Creek Country Club in Glenwood, Maryland for 8 years. Prior to Cattail, Chris worked as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Chevy Chase Club and Kinloch Golf Club. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors of Science in Turfgrass Management and earned his Master's degree from the online Penn State Turfgrass program. He will be our keynote speaker for this event, providing his expertise on "How to Dominate Your Spray Application."

We will be joined by special guest Chris Harriman, Director of Grounds and Golf Course Management at Hermitage Country Club. Following Chris' presentation will be a Superintendent roundtable featuring Chris Harriman, Seve Vessels, Boonsboro CC, and Brian Kearns, Primland Resort encouraging audience participation.

Golf
Following education there will be a two-man captain's choice golf competition. Both players will play each shot, with the team selecting the best ball to play, continuing until the ball is holed. You can sign up as a team or as an individual and we will pair you with another single.

Entry fee is just $89 for superintendents/vendors per person ($69 for assistants/crew members) and includes the following: breakfast, education, green fees, cart rental, range balls, lunch, beverages, prizes and reception with open bar.
