Event Description
THIS COHORT WAS CANCELED on Friday, 5/20/22, due to lack of registrations. We are offering another cohort of this AVMR Refresher course in Lexington, KY on 6/14/22. Click here to register for the Lexington cohort.     

AVMR Courses 1 and 2 Refresher - IN-PERSON, Elizabethtown - Cindy Aossey (June 2022)

Description:
This one-day professional learning experience is for participants who have completed Add+Vantage Math Recovery™ (AVMR™) Courses 1 & 2. 
  • The morning session will focus on AVMR Course 1 content including video analysis, Learning Framework in Number (LFIN), Classroom Instructional Framework (CIFEN), Number Words & Numerals, Structuring Number and Addition & Subtraction.
  • The afternoon session will focus on AVMR Course 2 content including video analysis, Learning Framework in Number (LFIN), Classroom Instructional Framework (CIFEN), Place Value, and Multiplication & Division

Date: Thursday, June 16
Time: 9 am - 4 pm Eastern with a 1-hour lunch break. (*Participants are on their own for lunch.) 
Cost: Free (For Kentucky Educators only)     
Location: Hilton Garden Inn, Elizabethtown, KY

The Kentucky Center for Mathematics respects and appreciates all Kentucky educators. The KCM is covering the costs for the meeting space, facilitator's time and travel, and course materials to bring this professional learning event to Kentucky educators with no registration fee. If you should register for this course and then find you are unable to attend for any reason, please contact the KCM at 859-572-7690 or kcm@nku.edu so your registration can be voided and the facilitator can plan accordingly. Participants who register and then fail to attend without contacting the KCM may be charged a fee for the meeting space, facilitator and materials. Please, no NO-SHOWS. Thank you.
