Unique Char: Trosten Haus is a beautiful facility that provides day respite for caregivers. Trosten Haus was designed to feel like a home away from home. It is a safe and secure environment. The environment was designed specifically for participants diagnosed with dementia. There are two (2) break-out rooms and a large four-season porch for activities and relaxation. The dining area is large enough to accommodate all of our clients at meal time. There are three (3) large bathrooms and one (1) shower room and one (1) tub room. There is also an in-house beauty salon. The Trosten Haus is staffed with personal care assistants and activity assistants. The personal care staff keeps and organized schedule of toileting, ambulating, monitoring blood pressures, bathing, providing all cares for the clients. The activity staff offers a variety of activities for the clients-daily. Some of these activities may include “Maintain Your Brain��? exercises, gross motor activities, table games, outings, baking, crafts, science projects, history, travel time, exercises, and news/current events.
