From 11am - 2pm join us for activities indoors and out during the Grand Ledge Fall Festival! Children can hunt for the “Great” Pumpkin inside the library, learn about Michigan mammals, make a fall craft, hear a seasonal story and have some fall fun!

From 1pm - 2pm join us for Michigan’s Marvelous Mammals: Presented by DNR ! Discover the fascinating features of Michigan Mammals! Children learn how Michigan’s furry friends prepare for winter. Presented by Hannah Schauer, Wildlife Communications & Education Coordinator Michigan DNR.

Come and trick-or-treat the Sharp Park trail at the displays set up by local businesses and groups. A $1 fee per child will be collected at the park and will be used for future parks events. We encourage everyone to wear costumes and bring their own trick or treat bag. If you are a business or civic group and would like to have a table, please call us at 323-8555 or visit www.deltami.gov to obtain a form. Trail shuts down at 7:30 p.m. The rain date for this event will be Wednesday, October 13.

Come Celebrate with us! Our Grand Ledge Chamber ribbon cutting is October 16th. We will have light refreshments, free drop off recycling(full list of accepted items will be added later), shop the clothing closet for free clothing, dress up in a costume for a chance to win a prize, and of course shop! We will be featuring our Halloween and Oddities as our sale focus BUT will have much more available to browse and buy. Check out our event link for more details.

Is Grand Ledge haunted? What spirits might be lurking in the shadows of our small town, and more importantly, why? Join Jenn Carpenter, author of "Haunted Lansing" and "The Cereal Killer Chronicles," and host of the true crime podcast "So Dead" as she shares stories of reported hauntings in Grand Ledge, and the real-life tragedies that may have led to them. Following Jenn's presentation, she will be selling and autographing copies of her books.
