2nd Annual Delta Rocks! Fit & Frosty - Get Moving, Get Outside, Get TogetherThis is a lively community event with the goal of getting everyone outside and active in the winter! Join us for a fantastic time featuring a DJ party that will get everyone moving and grooving. We’ll come together to enjoy the fresh air, food, connect with friends and family, and celebrate the joy of being active outdoors. Whether you’re taking a leisurely stroll, participating in the kickball tournament, or enjoying one of the other fun activities, it’s the perfect opportunity to embrace our community spirit and have fun. Through February 20, 2026: In its 19th year, the annual MSUFCU Student Art Exhibit, presented by 517 Business Magazine and sponsored by MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU), has served as a creative showcase for students from participating mid-Michigan high schools. In the past, participating high schools have included Bath, DeWitt, East Lansing, Eaton Rapids, Fowlerville, Grand Ledge, Haslett, Holt, Laingsburg, Lansing Catholic, Lansing Christian, Lansing Everett, Leslie, Mason, Michigan Connections Academy, Okemos, Potterville, St. Johns, Waverly and Williamston.

Many birds migrate in the winter -- for those that stay, finding food can be a challenge. Learn what birds do to adapt in the winter-- and how to help them. Enjoy a story and a presentation on winter birds and wildlife in our area and then try your hand at creating crafts to share some treats with winter birds. Craft activities may include a pinecone feeder, orange cups, cardboard tube binoculars. We'll also learn about planning and preparing for safe spring migration season.1/27/2026

Ages 8+ w/ Adult SupervisionGift of Life Michigan will be hosting a volunteer activity to make comfort fleece tie blankets for families who have lost a loved one. There will be a brief presentation about Gift of Life's work and informational materials available to learn more. We will also have fleece scraps available to make dog and cat toys for shelter pets. If you have new or handmade blankets that you would like to donate, you can bring them to the event.

AdultGLADL has partnered with BrickHaven Brewing Company to offer a Silent Book Club in Grand Ledge. Participants gather at our designated tables at BrickHaven, and everyone brings a book of their choice to read. The Library Coordinator will offer a quick greeting, participants may order drinks and food, and then we'll all silently read the book of our choice for about 45 minutes. After that time, the Coordinator will invite everyone to share a bit about the book they're reading and people can choose to participate or not, whatever they're comfortable with. Registration required to reserve space.

AdultThrough this interactive presentation, Compassion and Choices members will detail the medical landscape in Michigan today, explain advanced directives and why everyone should complete theirs, review dementia’s nuances and detail all end-of-life care choices, including medical-aid-in-dying. Presenters will guide participants through slightly humorous, thoughtful interactive questions and show a brief movie clip.

Ages 16+Come enjoy coffee, conversation and audience participation for an afternoon of poetry, fun and ideas. Area women poets read poems about 5 subjects in rotation, each giving their spin on the topics. It's a fast-paced, different kind of reading, full of engaging and provoking poems to engage an audience of both poetry fans and those unfamiliar with its performance. Poets and themes to be announced closer to the event.
