Fund. of Tertiary Treatment & Wastewater Disinfection - Boyne City

This course picks up the journey of wastewater as it nears the end of its trail through the treatment plant. This is where the pathogens are removed, preparing the water to be returned to the hydrological cycle in a safe form. Once the water passes through this stage it must pass a number of rigid tests and comply with numerous state and federal regulations.

Imagine A Day Without Water & Art Contest

The Michigan Water Environment Association is inviting Michigan students to participate in an “Imagine a Day Without Water” art contest. Winning students will a prize. Artwork may also be featured on the MWEA website and on social media.
 
This art contest is being offered as part of the Value of Water Coalition’s 5th Annual “Imagine a Day Without Water” event on Oct. 23, 2019. All across the country, events and activities will take place to highlight the importance of clean water in our day-to-day lives. Winners of the MWEA’s “Imagine a Day Without Water” art contest will be announced publicly on October 23, 2019.
