Easter Egg Hunt
Join us in the crisp spring morning air for set-up. Watch as the crowds start to gather and mill about at the steps of the iconic Capitol building, making crafts, petting Potter Park Zoo animals, getting balloon hats made by Crash the Clown and her sidekick.
Then, THE HUNT! The best 30 seconds EVER, as we watch hundreds of children dive into the grass for Easter eggs! And we do it all again two more times for the other age groups!
The actual event time (so you can tell your friends/family members) is 10 a.m. to noon.

We have an awesome opportunity to assist the Capital Area Humane Society with their 15th annual Fur Ball Gala, April 21, 2018. The Fur Ball is the shelters largest and most lucrative event of the year. With many community and business leaders in attendance to support man’s best friend, this is a wonderful event for networking and positive exposure for JCI-Lansing. Attendees are welcome to bring their fur-babies and enter them into the Pooch Parade. There are five volunteer spots remaining, of which include handling the attendee’s dogs while at the event. The volunteers would be responsible potty breaks, keeping the dogs happy and occupied (playing with them) and walking them on stage during the parade. Each volunteer would be served dinner promptly at 5:00 PM. Each volunteer would need to commit approximately 5 hours, from 5:00 pm until 11:00pm.
