Hosted by the Water Collaborative Delivery Association:
Join the WCDA for a webinar focused on risk allocation and contract principles for CMAR and design-build projects based on the new sixth edition of the Water and Wastewater Collaborative Delivery Handbook.
This course is focused on attorneys, legal professionals, and senior procurement roles who may be engaged in current or future collaborative delivery projects. Project managers and agency executives are also invited to attend.
Content Overview
This two-hour session covers risk allocation, commercial concepts, and sources of contracts for construction management at-risk (CMAR)—also known as CM/GC and GC/CM—progressive design-build (PDB), and fixed-price design-build (FPDB) as summarized in WCDA’s Water and Wastewater Collaborative Delivery Handbook. For this webinar, the handbook material will be expanded to cover the following:
Which otherwise familiar design and construction contract terms may be applied in a new context for CMAR and design-build projects
How risk-related contractual terms may be viewed through a performance accountability lens for design-build projects
What additional contract terms must be included to support effective two-phase, open-book CMAR and PDB contracts
Includes PDF copy of WCDA’s new Water and Wastewater Collaborative Delivery Handbook, 6th edition.
Please visit the WCDA's website to register. $295 / per person
