Whether you're a seasoned teacher stepping into a new challenge or a fresh face in the educational field, this special double webinar promises to be your ultimate guide to understanding and inspiring gifted learners.   • Identifying Gifted Learners in Kansas with Dr. Jessica LaFollette, KGTC Director of Professional Learning - Discover important legal guidelines and practical strategies for finding gifted learners.

  • Curriculum Resources and tips to ignite learning with KGTC President-Elect Carie Barber - Start the year with a toolkit of challenging resources and ideas for developing high quality lessons.

  • Social/Emotional Needs of the Gifted and Twice Exceptional with KGTC President Lindsay Black - Learn how to navigate the sensitivities and intensities of your neurodivergent thinkers.

  • Q&A Blitz: Bring your burning questions! Our expert panel will provide insights and solutions.

  • IEP Compliance for Gifted with Josie McClendon from KSDE - Practical strategies for developing meaningful PLAFPs and gifted goals.

  • More Curriculum Resources with KGTC President-Elect Carie Barber - Extend your ideas of what is possible for gifted learners when differentiating instruction for a general education classroom.

  • Parents as Partners with Leigh Johnson, KGTC Treasurer - Learn how to empower parents as they navigate the challenges of giftedness beyond your classroom.

  • Q&A Blitz: Bring your burning questions! Our expert panel will provide insights and solutions.

 

Who Should Attend?
