This course will give a basic overview on how to safely operate laboratory equipment, collect representative samples and also preserve and transport the samples, prepare samples for analysis, describe lab test limitations, recognize precautions for those tests, and record lab test results, perform the following field or laboratory tests - alkalinity, chlorine residual, chlorine demand, coliform, hardness, jar test, pH, temperature, and turbidity.

identify conditions that may present a sanitary or public health risk. Washington State drinking water
